Seyi Borrofice

MIT Sloan School of Management, MBA graduate and MPA from Harvard University. He holds a bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, US.
Over 15 years experience in power plant development covering feasibility studies, fund raising, engineering and advisory to multinational institutions such as European Development Bank and Harith Fund.
He served as lead strategist for the development of 1500 MW gas fired power plant in Nigeria. He has worked in several countries including US, Bahrain, India and Nigeria

Adewale Salami
- ( Board Member/Lead)
Adewale holds a MSC degree in Finance and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki. He has an extensive background in Finance, business development and innovation. He was key to the establishment of the Citibank New York’s virtual accelerator for Africa and served as a coordinator for MIT REAP Lagos project in coordination with Techpreneur Africa.
He was Managing Director (Africa) for Gaia NRG Geneva through which he facilitated high value investments into rural areas in Niger Delta region of Nigeria to develop agricultural residues into energy products in return creating hundreds of local jobs.
Prior to this he worked in the banking industry in Nigeria where he participated in audits and served as an operations manager. He also sits on the board of an organization focused on providing impact led education solutions to out of school children.
Kehinde Ayodele
- ( Managing Director)
Kehinde holds a BSC in Sociology and diploma in social work from the University of Jos. He was a senior logistics officer with Dangote Cement where he worked for several years. His career experience is multi sectoral with top level management roles in logistics and operations.
He served as General Manager ( Nigeria) for a leading Polish commodity trading firm with roots in bio waste trading. Where he was responsible for the export of quality and approved products from Nigeria to the EU.He also sits on the board of a health organization delivering affordable prescription medicine.
Maureen Okoli
- ( Chief Compliance Officer)
Maureen holds a banking and finance degree from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka. Maureen is an astute administrator whose past roles include audit and internal control functions. She started her career as assistant accountant with STEMCO Nigeria limited where she was responsible for procurement standards and financial documentations. She joined Gaia NRG to provide and ensure compliance with quality management systems. She has served in several capacities to ensure compliance and monitoring of activities in Gaia NRG.
Becky Oyoma
- ( Chief Health and Safety Officer)
Becky holds a BSC degree in History from the University of Jos. Prior to joining Gaia NRG Nigeria, Becky worked with the National Salt Company of Nigeria where she was responsible for packaging inspection and quality. She currently serves as HSE planner and auditor in Gaia NRG Nigeria. Her responsibilities include ensuring zero injuries and upgrading safety procedures.
Becky is a certified and trained HSE officer who has attended several courses in HSE Management and Supervision. Becky also hold training certificates in Practical first aid and practical fire fighting and has been instrumental to the HSE audits of Gaia NRG
Augustine Erowele
- ( Chief Operations Officer)
Augustine holds is a Food Science and Technology graduate from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umuahia, Abia State. He has been responsible for the establishment of several agriculture and food processing industries across the south-east and south-south regions of Nigeria.Augustine has also over the years developed high level engagements with both the government and communities Augustine leads the direction of Gaia NRG at the processing centers in the communities.
Jecinta Okoli
- ( Chief Administrative Officer)
Jecinta holds a Second Class Upper BSc degree in Human Resources from Covenant University.
Prior to joining Gaia NRG Nigeria, Jecinta worked with AIICO insurance as customer service specialist where shee handled customer requests, complaints and metrics. Her role as an administrative officer has been very instrumental to the smooth running of Gaia NRG . Jecinta has extensive training in organizational management.
Peter Anaele
- ( Chief Logistics Officer)
Peter is a bachelor of Technology graduate in Geology from Federal University of Technology. He has a wide range of experience in geology having worked with several multinational organizations in the soil and extraction industries
Peter leads the Gaia NRG team planning the sustainable supply value chain across the different interactions leading to best-in-class practices.
Samson Elechi

Samson holds a BSC in Mass Communication from Rivers state University of Science and Technology. His career in the filed of sustainability started with his role as the Fuel Station manager of one of the leading construction firms in Nigeria – Setraco Nigeria Limited. Samson is a very detailed and experienced staff in circular economy.
